  • Example: In the Overview tab of the supplied view for a host node.

A label identifies other elements in your view. Group it with your display item to make sure it stays in the same relative position even if you move the display item. Labels can contain multiple lines and an unlimited number of characters. Modify a label by double-clicking it in edit mode.

The label can be animated using the script editor. Animation allows different text to be displayed in the label as different scripted conditions evaluate to true. The topic selected in the Source tab is used to make a source available for script evaluation; it does not select a topic to be displayed in the label.
