For most spaces, this page must be titled Space announcements.

For spaces with localized content, this page must be titled Space announcements l10n.

Purpose

Provide an announcement banner on every page of your space.

Queue message

The Queue Message Action Node can write and put a message to a queue. You might have the message write to a specific queue that you have configured for triggering.

A requirement for this feature is that you have WebSphere MQ with Java messaging installed on the MainView Middleware Monitor server. In addition, you need to edit the class_path and library_path parameters in the Event_Service stanza of services.cfg. The paths in the following table should not line-break on entry. The paths shown in the tables need to be prefixed with the paths included in the Event_Service stanzas. See also Event_Service.
