For most spaces, this page must be titled Space announcements.

For spaces with localized content, this page must be titled Space announcements l10n.

Purpose

Provide an announcement banner on every page of your space.

Move this page outside of your home branch.

Creating or updating a template history rule


To create or update a template for attaching a history rule to more than one monitored object

  1. Open the History tab.
  2. Expand the Templates tree to the appropriate branch.
    For new templates: Right-click the branch name and select Create New Template. The History view pane displays Template Type and History Rules panes. 
    Enter a template name.
    Select a template type from the Template Type list. The type defaults to the node in the template tree on which the menu was invoked.

    Note

    The properties listed in the History Rules pane depend on the template type selected.

    For existing templates, select the template name in the template tree. The properties of the template rule are displayed.

  3. In the History Rules pane, for each property to be included in the rule:
    1. Select the compression parameters you want distilled for reporting and/or charting. Interval is the duration for which the collected data is compressed. It is permanently set to hour.
    2. Click OK to save the new template or Apply to save changes to an existing template.
