Logging for embedded Java BTM extensions

The following Java BTM extensions run as embedded extensions (i.e. running within the context of the monitored technology, rather than connecting to the monitored technology):

  • BTM API for Java EE, including:
    • BTM Servlet Filter
    • BTM MBean
  • Java EE JMS Destination BTM Extension

Logging configuration therefore depends on the runtime container hosting the extension, as described in the following sections.
