Uninstalling the Apache ActiveMQ monitoring extension

  1. Stop the monitoring extension you want to uninstall.
  2. Check if the monitoring extension is running, as follows:
    • On Windows enter: bin\activemq_mon --status
    • On UNIX and z/OS enter: ./bin/activemq_mon --status
  3. If the monitoring extension is running, stop it by using the following steps:
    • For Windows, enter: bin\activemq_mon --stop
    • For UNIX and z/OS, enter: ./bin/activemq_mon --stop

Note

For Windows: To remove the monitoring extension installed as a System Service, enter: bin\activemq_mon –remove
