Exporting and importing Monitor Console environmental components with the CLI

The  mqsexport and mqsimport utilities enable you to export and import Monitor Console environmental components. You can use these utilities to back up and restore the entire Monitor Console environment or just selected components of the environment. These utilities can also be used to promote selected components from one server environment to another server environment.

The following export and import utilities work on custom views, rules, triggers, events and other Monitor Console objects:

Do not use this procedure to move objects between environments supported by different versions of TrueSight Middleware and Transaction Monitor.
