Page title

For most spaces, this page must be titled Space announcements.

For spaces with localized content, this page must be titled Space announcements l10n.

Purpose

Provide an announcement banner on every page of your space.

Location

Move this page outside of your home branch.

Moving messages

Attention

You must have Read and Delete permission for the source queue and Write permission for the destination queue in order to move messages.

  1. From the Navigation Panel, navigate to the relevant queue manager.
  2. Click the arrow icon to the left of the relevant queue, and from the displayed list of options select Move Messages. Alternatively, browse the relevant queue and select the Move Messages option from the Messages view. The following dialog is displayed:

  3. Select the queue manager you want to move messages to via the Destination Connection dropdown list. Note that if you are moving messages to a queue on the same queue manager, leave the default Destination Connection.
  4. Select a destination queue from the Destination Queue dropdown list.
  5. Define a message index(es), if relevant.
  6. The Preserve Correlation ID, Preserve All Context, Preserve Message ID, Remove DLQ Header, and Remove XMITQ Header checkboxes are all selected by default. If required, clear any of the relevant checkboxes.
  7. Click Move. 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
