Page title

For most spaces, this page must be titled Space announcements.

For spaces with localized content, this page must be titled Space announcements l10n.

Purpose

Provide an announcement banner on every page of your space.

Location

Move this page outside of your home branch.

Guidelines

Editing messages

  1. From the Operations drop-down menu for the specific message, select Edit.
  2. Modify fields as needed, including the header fields, formatting information, and message body. See also Entering-message-body-data.
  3. Click the Save button in the generic options toolbar to save the modified message to the queue.
  4. (Optional) Click the Cancel button to return to the Messages for Queue Summary view without saving any changes.

Note

The Converted checkbox is used to request the message data be converted by WebSphere MQ if required. This will use the option MQGMO_CONVERT when retrieving the message from the queue.
