IBM WebSphere MQ and TIBCO EMS version support

MainView Middleware Administrator works with the following versions of IBM WebSphere MQ, IBM MQ Appliance, and TIBCO EMS:

  • IBM WebSphere MQ versions 8.0, 9.0
  • IBM MQ Appliance versions 8.0, 9.0
  • TIBCO EMS versions  6.3, 7.0, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3
Warning

Note

IBM WebSphere MQ version 6 is supported on IBM platforms where WebSphere MQ version 7.x or higher is not available.

IBM WebSphere MQ client requirements

To use IBM WebSphere MQ with MainView Middleware Administrator, there must be an IBM WebSphere MQ client installation on the MainView Middleware Administrator services machine (the IBM WebSphere MQ client must be installed prior to installing MainView Middleware Administrator). We recommend installation of the latest version of the IBM WebSphere MQ client. At a minimum, the 7.5 client should be installed.
