The Remote Queues object


According to the IBM MQ definition, a remote queue is a queue that exists on a remote queue manager. A channel transfers messages to a queue that is defined on the remote queue manager, and specified in the remote queue's properties.

Select Remote Queues from the Navigation Panel. The All Remote Queues view is displayed:

Summary view operations available from the Operations drop-down menu are: Copy As New Queue, Delete, Permissions, Audit, Put Messages, Upload/Import, Tag Queue.

To access the selected queue's Properties Editor, click on the queue name in the workspace. There is a range of relevant editable parameters grouped by category.
