Replaying messages


MVMA as of Fix Pack 9.1.00.H provides enhanced support for replaying MQ messages by no longer restricting this functionality to a queue manager's dead letter queue (for more information, see Working-with-the-Dead-Letter-Queue-Handler) but making it available for all browsable queues. This enables the use of any custom dead letter queue for replaying messages.

For any local queue, click Replay Messages to use the message replayer feature. This feature is available in the All Queues and Local Queues summary views as shown in the image below:

For all other supported queue types the message replayer is available in the message browse view or messages summary view. Click Replay to replay multiple messages on a queue as shown in the image below:

Click Replay to replay an individual message from the message's individual operations drop-down menu as shown in the image below:

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
