Limit the maximum file size or the number of files for uploads
Starting from this Fixpack release, product administrators can configure the following new properties:
- upload.max_file_size: Assign a value, which is the maximum number of bytes allowed to upload in a file within one request to MVMA.
- upload.max_file_count: Assign a value, which is the maximum number of files allowed to upload to MVMA within a single request.
MVMA administrators can enforce these settings separately for user operations affecting WMQ or EMS connections. You must set the configuration parameters in their related properties files located in the configuration/services sub-directory of the MVMA installation to enforce these properties operations may include. The following list describes the files you need to configure for the respective scenarios:
- Setting these properties within the com.bmc.mmadmin.admin.resources.cfg file enforces the limits for administrative operations such as uploading custom images or message formatting scripts.
- Setting these properties within the com.bmc.mmadmin.wmq.resources.cfg file enforces the limits for operations affecting MQ queue managers such as importing MQ objects or messages from files.
- Setting these properties within the com.bmc.mmadmin.ems.resources.cfg file enforces the limits for operations affecting EMS or TIBCO queue managers such as importing EMS messages from files.
