IBM MQ version support

MainView Middleware Administrator (MVMA) works with the following versions of MVMA and IBM MQ Appliance:

  • IBM MQ Versions 9.2, 9.3, 9.4.0, 9.4.1, 9.4.2 and 9.4.3
  • IBM MQ Appliance M2002 Versions 9.3.x, 9.4.0, 9.4.1, 9.4.2 and 9.4.3

IBM MQ client requirements

To use IBM MQ with MVMA, there must be an IBM MQ client installation on the MVMA services machine (you must install the IBM MQ client before installing MVMA). We recommend that you install the latest version of the IBM MQ client. At a minimum, you should install the 9.2 client.
