System requirements

The topics in this section provide details on the system requirements for MainView Middleware Administrator.

BMC assumes that your system infrastructure and network are robust. A standard installation assumes use of a single server and that MainView Middleware Administrator users work from personal workstations within a functioning IP network.

Warning

Important

The number of your IBM MQ queue managers should not exceed that set out in your license.

The number of IBM MQ connections encoded in the license key is related to the actual number of queue managers in use. For example, if you license one queue manager, you can now set up as many WMQ connections to it in MainView Middleware Administrator as you require.
