Focus on IBM MQ

MainView Middleware Administrator (MVMA) focuses on using IBM MQ (for managing queue managers). See the current supported versions of IBM MQ.

This document references the IBM MQ functions supported by MVMA as IBM MQ, but unless explicitly specified, these references apply to IBM MQ and the IBM MQ Appliance.

IBM MQ Focus

IBM MQ provides for the management of queue managers. This means all queues and a set of relevant objects, from topics, subscriptions and listeners to processes, namelists, authentication and authority information, cluster status, etc.

The Navigation Panel in the MVMA Console supports all necessary IBM MQ functional objects - queue managers and their associated objects. It also includes objects for miscellaneous administrative tasks.
