Description

1

MVMA focuses on using IBM WebSphere MQ (for managing queue managers).

2

Provides a Web-based UI for users and administrators.

  • The Product Administrator configures and administers Projects, which exist in MVMA as a container for different components, from users and groups to the middleware connections that users manage.
  • The Middleware Administrator takes the role of “user” in MVMA, and accesses middleware assets through Projects that the Product Administrator configures. Projects are the means by which you can manage IBM WebSphere MQ queue managers.

3

The Product Administrator creates and maintains a secure environment through one of 5 available security models (the default is ADMIN_ADMIN). This ensures integrity is maintained and access to key application resources and components is monitored and regulated.

4

MVMA uses MongoDB as an external database, and MongoDB operates with the WiredTiger storage engine.
