Customizing the login page


This section describes how to customize the login page with your own image or logo.

To add an image to the login page

  1. Select Custom Images from the Navigation Panel. The Custom Images view is displayed. 
  2. Click the + icon to display the Create Custom Icon dialog box.

  3. The Create Custom Icon dialog box displays the following parameters:

    • Image Location: Leave the default Login Page Image option selected. 
    • Description: Read Only - Description for the image.
    • Height: Read Only - The height of the image (in pixels). The height of the custom image icon you select in the following step should be 82 pixels.
    • Width: Read Only - The width of the image (in pixels). The width of the custom image icon you select in the following step should be 270 pixels.

    Important

    The image sizes mentioned above are the recommended sizes to ensure support for all screen resolutions. Larger images can be used, but may be impacted by screen resolutions and browsers.

  4. Click Upload Image to browse and select the relevant image from your computer. Any image supported by HTML tags (PNG, BMP, JPG, JPEG, TIFF, GIF) can be uploaded.
  5. Click Create. The image is uploaded to MainView Middleware Administrator (MVMA) and will be displayed on the login page, as shown in the following example image.

To modify, view, or delete an uploaded custom image

  1. Select Custom Images from the Navigation Panel. The Custom Images view is displayed. 
  2. From the Operations dropdown menu, select from the following:
    • Edit: In the displayed Update Custom Icon dialog box, click Upload Image to select your new image (note the name and size of the image is non-editable). When finished, click Update.
    • View Icon: Displays a preview of the image.
    • Delete: In the displayed confirmation message, click OK. The image is removed from MVMA.
