Operating environments

MainView Middleware Administrator can be installed in the following operating environments or systems: 

  • Microsoft Windows 2008 Server R2 (64-bit), 2012 Server (64-bit), 2016 Server (64-bit), and 2019 Server (64-bit)
  • RedHat Enterprise Linux 8.x and 9 (64-bit on Intel/AMD x86)
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (64-bit on Intel/AMD x86)
  • Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (64-bit on Intel/AMD x86)

Separate installation procedures exist for Windows and Linux environments. For Windows users, an installation wizard steps you through the process. Linux users install either through a Console or using a GUI wizard.
