Session Management


The Session Management page allows you to view, modify or delete existing console sessions and add new ones. Lists in alphabetical order the defined console sessions controlled by this Console Consolidation server.

Session Name

The name given the session when it was defined. All clients that wish to connect to this session, including CCS clients, SmartClient servers and third-party TN3270E emulation software must use this name to identify the session.

Edit

Opens the session configuration editor for you to view and make changes to this session.

Copy

Opens a new session configuration editor with the settings copied from this session. You must change the Session Name value at the top and specify a different name, if you attempt to save a session with the same name as a previously defined session then you will get an error message.

Delete

Deletes the session. You will be prompted to confirm your request before the session is actually deleted

Add

Use the Add button to open the session configuration editor and create a new session starting with default values for the settings.

Save

Use the Save button to save any configuration changes you have made to this server. You will be returned to the list of console servers.

Cancel

Use the Cancel button to cancel any configuration changes you have made to this server. You will be returned to the list of console servers.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
