Logging Configuration

The Logging Configuration page allows you to control and view server logging in the form of an operational log and an optional command auditing log. The operational log includes message about server initialization, console session startup, client connection and disconnection and any errors experienced while the server is running. This log is the usual starting point in diagnosing problems.

Lookup Client Computer Names

If Lookup client computer names is checked, the CCS server will attempt to use the current DNS server settings to obtain the name of the client computer.

Note

There must be at least one DNS server configured in the MVCM General Settings/Network Configuration and the DNS server must be capable of performing a reverse DNS lookup for this to function properly.
