Console Automation

The main Automation Server page allows you to view, modify or delete existing servers and add new ones.

This line shows the version number and build date of the installed Console Automation software.

Server Table

Lists the defined Automation servers in alphabetical order by name along with their current operational status.

Server Name

The name given the server when it was defined.

Status

A status of Running indicates the server is running, Stopped indicates that it is not.

Startup

Indicates the startup mode - Automatic, Manual or Disabled - set in the server configuration. Automatic mode is used to automatically start the server whenever the MVCM system is powered on. Manual mode is used if the server is only to start when the server Start button on this page is clicked. Disabled mode is like Manual except that the server Start button is disabled to prevent accidentally starting the server.

Start

This button will be enabled if the server is both stopped and not disabled; clicking on it will start the server, disable the Start button and enable the Stop button.

Stop

This button will be enabled if the server is running; clicking on it will stop the server, disable the Stop button and enable the Start button.

Delete

Deletes the server configuration. You will be prompted to confirm your request before the server is actually deleted.

Logs

Pops up a new View-Logs allowing you to manage - view, delete or download - the log files available for this server.

New Server

Use the New Server button to start the process of creating a new Automation server configuration. You will be prompted for the name of the new server after which you will be taken to the General-Server-Settings page.
