MainView Console Management system configuration


The system configuration pages allow administrators to view the current operational status of the servers and perform other administrative function such as upgrading the software, and rebooting the server. BMC Software Support may instruct administrators to go to these pages to generate and download files that contain log files about the server's status.

The General Settings - System Information pages allow an administrator access to information about the operational status of the server and to configure some basic settings for it. Clicking on one of the tabs at the top of the page to go to a specific area. The System Information tab provides some general statistical information about the current state of the unit in terms of disk and memory usage and the set of active processes.
