Scrolling message pane
The Scrolling message pane is located in the center of the viewer. It displays all of the messages that are being received by the viewer. You can use the Freeze check box located at the bottom of the screen to freeze the scrolling. The border of the screen changes to red, indicating that the freeze option is in effect.
You can use the Find option in the Edit menu to search the messages for a text string.
Right-clicking on a message brings up a pop-up window that offers the following options:

Select All | Selects all displayed text |
Copy | Inserts the selected text into a clipboard |
Show message detail | Displays a dialog box with all message details |
Session viewer | Displays messages based on the Session they are in. You can filter the messages using the Sessions option in the View menu. In the Sessions dialog box, you check or uncheck the check boxes next to the sessions you wish to monitor. When the Scrolling message pane is filtered, you will see a yellow border around it. |
