SMFOUT DD statement


The SMFOUT DD statement defines an optional output SMF data set where selected Data Optimizer SMF records are written.

DAPUSMF1 SMFOUT DD statement syntax

//SMFOUT DD DISP=SHR,DSN=outputSMFDataSet

outputSMFDataSet is your output SMF data set.

The valid DCB parameters are the same as for SMFFILE. Their values should be the same as the ones for the SMFFILE DD statement.

The DAPUSMF1 SMFFILE DD statement parameters table shows the valid DCB parameters that can be specified.
