The User Control Facility

The User Control Facility (UCF) provides you with an additional means of controlling the Job Optimizer component of MainView Batch Optimizer. UCF is a set of keywords that you specify in a member of the control data set. UCF applies to batch jobs only, and does not affect MainView Batch Optimizer performance processing for data set I/O requests.
