Workload distribution

Workload distribution is used to improve the use of the resources in your Parallel Sysplex. Job Optimizer can target work to another image whose processing capabilities are more suited to running the job step.

Performance data provided by workload management (WLM) is used to help Job Optimizer decide where to target work. Job Optimizer provides a mechanism for you to override the Job Optimizer decisions to target a job step.
