Step-to-step piping

Step-to-step piping through Job Optimizer Pipes provides data sharing between steps that are running in parallel. In step-to-step piping, a pipe forms between two data-dependent steps.

The pipe allows the data-dependent steps to execute in parallel by passing the data from the writer step to the reader step. Using a pipe, the reader can access a block as soon as it is written.
