MainView Batch Optimizer components

The MainView Batch Optimizer is a specialized set of components that manage batch jobs, reduce elapsed processing times, and accommodate efficient use of your available resources.

Note

You must apply a password before starting MainView Batch Optimizer. You should receive a password from BMC before you access the subsystem. For information about obtaining and applying passwords, see the product authorization information in the Installation System documentation.

BMC offers Standard and Advanced editions of MainView Batch Optimizer to meet the needs of your environment. The following table indicates the MainView Batch Optimizer components that are available in each edition.
