You can create a new Pipe Policy List in the control data set.
To create a new Pipe Policy List in the control data set
Access the MainView Batch Optimizer Objects List panel.

- Select File => 1 (New), and press Enter.
- Enter E next to the <New> line, and press Enter.
The New Definition pop-up panel is displayed.
- In Definition type enter 5 to specify that you are creating a Pipe Policy List.
- In Member suffix enter two-character suffix for the Pipe Policy List.The characters can be alphanumeric, or $, @, or #. These characters are appended to the prefix PIPLST to form the Pipe Policy List name. For example, if you enter 02, the Pipe Policy List is named PIPLST02. For more information about naming conventions for control data set members, see Customizing-after-installation.
- (optional) Enter up to 22 characters of text in the Comment field that describes this Pipe Policy List.
- Press Enter.The Pipe Policy Default Rule Options panel is displayed.
You can confirm or modify, and save the default Pipe Policy Rules, or open a empty definition list.
- To open an empty definition list press F12 (Cancel ).
- Edit the default rule values as needed, and press Enter.
In both options the Pipe Policy List Entry pop-up is displayed.
- Enter a two-character suffix for the Rule Table Identification.
- (optional) Enter up to 22 characters of text in the Comment field that describes this Pipe Policy List entry.
- Press Enter.
