Using the MainView Batch Optimizer commands

Because MainView Batch Optimizer operates as a subsystem, status changes that are made by commands that are entered from the operator console are active only until the next IPL.

When the MainView Batch Optimizer Subsystem (MBOS) is started after an IPL, the previous default overrides are lost. New overrides must be entered using the commands. To prevent the need to reenter the MBOS or Job Optimizer commands, you can place them in the MBOS commands member BCSCMDxx. They will be issued from this member each time the MBOS is started.
