Open synchronization option

With the Open synchronization option, you specify whether Job Optimizer Pipes holds processing of each participant that opens the pipe until all participants have opened the pipe.

This option has the following possible values:

  • Y - specifies that Job Optimizer Pipes holds processing of each participant that opens the pipe until all participants have opened the pipe
  • N - specifies that Job Optimizer Pipes does not hold processing of a pipe participant that opens the pipe

Note

A value of Y must be set for this option if the Reader data option has a value of A (All).

Default value

If all of the synchronization definition options are left blank, the values in JOPDEFRL are used as the default values for this option.
