HCDRA option
When the HCDRA option is invoked, the region setting is adjusted to the maximum value set by the command.
The region size should be smaller than the region limit to protect against programs that issue variable length GETMAINs for the maximum length available. You can use the RSV24 and RSV31 parameters to customize the difference between the region limit and the region size.
This value is effective for all jobs regardless of whether optimization was provided. The region adjustment value remains in effect for the duration of the job. If this option is set to YES, it overrides the DRA option settings.
The HCDRA option is only available by using a command. The following are sample commands:

YES [nnn] | This region sizing method is to be used. This value overrides the DRA option setting. You can optionally specify a three-character number from 1 through 999 setting the size (in MB) to which the above-the-line region should be resized. The default value is 64. |
RSV24 [nnn] | The value in kilobytes that is the difference between the 24 bit region limit and region size. You can specify a three-character number from 1 through 999 (in KB). The default value is 64. |
RSV31 [nnn] | The value in kilobytes that is the difference between the 31 bit region limit and region size. You can specify a three-character number from 1 through 999 (in KB). The default value is 0. |
