Activating the User Control exit

To activate the User Control exit

1. Issue the following command:mbos DAP USEREXIT {DISABLE | ENABLE} [ exitName]

   Value	Description
   DISABLE	Disables the User Control exit and prevents it from making interception decisions
   ENABLE	Enables the User Control exit and allows it to make interception decisions
   exitName	Indicates a specific User Control exit name If you do not specify an exit name, Data Optimizer uses DAPUEXIT as the default value.

   Warning

   Note

   If you have a user exit enabled and want to enable a new user exit, you must first disable previously enabled user exits.

   Data Optimizer responds with message BMC101700I to indicate the availability of the User Control exit.

2. (optional) Review the system log to ensure the command is completed successfully.
