Multiple TOM PASs: BBPARM member MAMCFGxx

BMC recommends that the JCL for all TOM PASs within a TOMPLEX share the same BBIPARM ddname concatenation and that MAMCFGxx be used to specify unique BBPARM member suffixes where needed.

To override one or more of the default suffixes, specify PARM=(CFG=xx) on the EXEC statement in the JCL for the TOM Started Task where thexx is the suffix of the MAMCFG xx member found in the BBIPARM ddname concatenation of the PAS.

For example:

 //MVTOM EXEC OSZEXEC4,PARM=(CFG=01)

In this case the suffix of the MAMCFGxx member of the data set for the BBIPARM DD statement is 01. Within the MAMCFG01 member, specify one or more keywords to specify the suffixes for the other BBPARM members.

The BBPARM member MAMCFGxx controls the other BBPARM members that are used by TOM. Thexx suffix of this member name is specified on the MAMMVTOM initialization CFG= xx parameter in the start PROC to indicate which MAMCFGxx parameter library (BBIPARM DD) should be used.

For information about the available parameters, review BBPARM member MAMCFGxx.
