How TOM works
The following sections describe how TOM PASs start, how TOM starts and stops objects, how TOM recovers failed objects, and how you can specify command limits for an object. TOM uses automation functions:
- To define events that signify when an object starts, stops, or ends abnormally
- To schedule pre-start, post-start, pre-stop, and post-stop EXECs as part of an object’s definition
