Verifying operator profiles
All Access NV controlled operator station tasks (OSTs) must execute an initialization CLIST that contains the NAISTUB command. This requirement applies to TS users as well as the OPERxx IDs used for IMFEXEC NETVIEW commands. If you use an ESM such as RACF, you must make the appropriate changes to the user definition for the IC parameter in your user definition.
To ensure that NAISTUB is executed
- Copy BBSAMP members NAIPROF and NAIPROFX into the NetView DSIPRF data set.
- If no profile specification already exists for an operator ID, specify either NAIPROFX or NAIPROF and use
- NAIPROFX for OPERxx IDs that were specified in NAIOPT00
- NAIPROF for TS operator IDs
- If a profile is already specified for an operator ID, browse the profile in the NetView DSIPRF data set to determine which initialization CLIST is being used.
- Edit this CLIST in the NetView DSICLD data set to include the statements from either NAINITX or NAINIT and use
- NAIINITX for OPERxx IDs that were specified in NAIOPT00
- NAIINIT for TS operator IDs
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
