FLRI keyword

The FLRI keyword (Force Logical Record Interface option) enables you to indicate whether DATA ACCELERATOR Compression should allow a program to access a data set at the CI level. If you are not concerned that the target program accesses data sets using CI access, use N for this keyword.

Values

Use one of the following values:

  • Y - Allow a program to access a VSAM data set at the logical record level rather than a incompatible level, such as CI.
  • N - Do not allow a program to access a VSAM data set at the logical record level.
