Reviewing the Non-Candidate Report

The Non-Candidate Report lists those data sets that Implementation Assist has determined are not candidates for DATA ACCELERATOR Compression processes.

This report helps you to determine whether additional data sets should be removed from or included in the candidate list. Reviewing the Non-Candidate Report is optional.

Before you review the Non-Candidate Report you must perform a Search for Candidates.

To review the Non-Candidate Report:

Review the data sets listed in the report. The report lists the data sets in alphabetical order.You may determine that additional data sets could be included or excluded, based on the volume on which they reside or their size in tracks.

If you determine that some data sets on this report are candidates (based on job name or data set name), select option 1 again and enter your additional criteria as applicable, or use option 4 (Database functions) to manipulate the database containing the candidate list.
