Removing invalid accesses by job name from exclusion

Some data sets may have been excluded from the compression candidate list because of job name access.

You may decide to alter your criteria and include data sets accessed by these job names.

To remove invalid accesses by job name from Exclusion

  1. In the Database Functions panel enter 2 (Remove invalid accesses by job name) in the option select space.The panel displays the Remove by Job Name panel.
  2. Type a job name to remove from exclusion.You can use wildcard patterns when you identify the job name.
  3. Press Enter.The panel displays the generated JCL in an ISPF Edit session.
  4. Review and submit the JCL.
  5. Press F3 (END) to return to the Implementation Assist Primary Menu.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
