Removing data set names from the Candidate list
This option enables you to identify additional data sets that should be excluded from the candidate list.
To exclude candidates from the list by data set name
- In the Database Functions panel enter 3 (Remove invalid accesses by data set name) in the option select space.
- Press Enter. The panel displays the Remove by Dataset panel.
- Type a data set name. You can use wildcard patterns when you identify the data set.
- Press Enter. The panel displays the generated JCL in an ISPF Edit session.
- Review and submit the JCL. Press the END key (usually F3) to return to the DATA ACCELERATOR Compression Implementation Assist Primary Menu.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
