Implementation Assist
Implementation Assist uses system management facilities (SMF) data and volume table of contents (VTOC) data to determine what types of data sets exist on your DASD and how your application programs are using them. With this information, Implementation Assist provides reports that outline which data sets are candidates for compression processing.
