Utilities interface

This topic describes the DATA ACCELERATOR Compression interface with the Copy and Sort programs that use execute channel program (EXCP) processing.

Note

The Copy and Sort interfaces dynamically allocate temporary data sets during their processes. DATA ACCELERATOR Compression uses UNIT=VIO and UNIT=SYSALLDA as default values for the UNIT parameter. If your installation uses values other than UNIT=VIO or UNIT=SYSALLDA to allocate temporary data sets, use the bcssid DAC WORKUNIT command (see BMC Software Subsystem) to specify the UNIT parameter value.
