Overview of Cost Analyzer support for MVM

Cost Analyzer provides full support for Multiple-Version Measurement (MVM) pricing so that you can build cost models that are based on this new sub-capacity offering.

Cost Analyzer supports MVM in Monthly Summary Reports by enabling you to generate reports that breakdown MSU utilizations by MLC product family and version for any CPC that is running multiple versions of an MLC product.

Note

MVM replaces Single Version Charging (SVC) and affects the pricing of running multiple versions of an MLC product on a CPC. When running multiple versions of an MLC product, the costs are calculated and reported as though there was a single version.
