Linklist Libraries screen

The Linklist Libraries screen displays the list of the libraries in the linklist.

The screen also displays linklist sets, in the following order:

current, displayed in white
no longer current but still in use by some address spaces, displayed in green .
defined and neither of the above (the most recently defined/activated sets appear first), displayed in blue .

Specifying Y in the Details field displays additional information about the libraries; this field is set to N by default for performance reasons.

Note

This screen is available only in the CMFMON Online facility. There is no CMFMON batch report equivalent.

The following table lists the header; ID (used when specifying keywords); whether the column appears only if the Details field is Y or for both values of Details (Y or N); and a brief description of each column in this report.

DATA SET NAME	DSN		Name of the library in the APF list, linklist, or LPA list
VOLSER	VOLSER		Volume serial of the DASD on which a library resides Warning Note The volser displayed is that of the DASD on which the library was last allocated; if the library is currently migrated, this value is not necessarily correct.
APF	APF		Contains an A if the library is APF-authorized; otherwise, it is blank
PLPA	PLPA		Contains a P if the library is in the pageable LPA list; otherwise, it is blank
RACF	RACF	Y only	Contains an R if the library is RACF protected; otherwise, it is blank ¹ Warning Note If the volume is not mounted or the library is not found on the volume, this field and the SMS, PDSE, and Extents fields display ?.
SMS	SMS	Y only	Contains an S if the library is SMS-managed; otherwise, it is blank ¹ Warning Note If the volume is not mounted or the library is not found on the volume, this field and the RACF, RACF, and Extents fields display ?.
PDSE	PDSE	Y only	Contains an E if the library is a PDSE; otherwise, it is blank ¹ Warning Note If the volume is not mounted or the library is not found on the volume, this field and the RACF, SMS, and Extents fields display ?.
EXT	EXT	Y only	Displays the number of allocated extents ¹ Warning Note If the volume is not mounted or the library is not found on the volume, this field and the RACF, SMS, and RACF fields display ?.
DEVN	DEVNUM	Y only	Displays the device number of the DASD on which the library resides, which includes the subchannel set ID3. (snnnn) - 's' is the subchannel set ID and 'nnnn' is the device number. Warning Note If the volume is not mounted, this field displays ?????.
DEV TYPE	DEVTYPE	Y only	Device Type field—displays the device model of the DASD on which the library resides ¹ Warning Note If the volume is not mounted, this field displays ????????.
LLA	LLA		The LLA field contains a Y if library lookaside (LLA) is monitoring the linklist using this linklist set; otherwise, it contains an N. Warning Note LLA improves the performance of module fetching by maintaining (in the LLA address space) copies of the load library directories. In conjunction with LLA, Virtual Lookaside Facility (VLF) data space maintains copies of selected modules to fetch modules quickly from virtual storage, rather than using slower I/O to fetch the modules from DASD.
SET STATUS	STATUS		Contains the status of the linklist set: Current—linklist set is current In-use—linklist set is no longer current but still in use by some address spaces Defined—linklist set is defined but is neither current nor in use
KEY			For BMC internal use and is not normally displayed
