Selecting members from a member list


Some commands prompt you to select a member from a JCLLIB or CTLLIB member list panel. Use the following procedure to select a member.

To select a member from a JCLLIB or CTLLIB member list

Perform either of the following actions:

  • Enter an S line command on the line of the member to be selected
  • Enter a SELECT memberName primary command.

The command returns the name or content of the selected member, as applicable, to the previous panel.

Note

If you enter an S line command or a SELECT memberName primary command when the selection process is not enabled, the command is rejected.



 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
