Comments

MINTIME(nnn)

The CMF MONITOR ONLINE interval is determined by the value that is specified on the CMF Extractor REPORT statement.

If RMF MON III MINTIME is different from RMF MON I INTERVAL, do the following actions:

  • Use CMF MONITOR CPM Extractor mode as equivalent to RMF MON I.
  • Use IPM mode for specifying interval time equivalent to RMF MON III.
  • Specify DC=IPM on PAS PROC.
  • In IPM Extractor REPORT control statement:
    • Specify SMF=NO on report control statement.
    • For INTERVAL= specify value equal or close to RMF MON III MINTIME.
  • Specify only the control statements that are required for CMF MONITOR online to function properly:
    • REPORT
    • ASMDATA
    • CACHE
    • CPU
    • PAGING
    • DEVICE (one each for Tape and DASD)

See When-to-use-CMF-MONITOR-Extractor-CPM-and-IPM-modes for further information about IPM mode.
