PCIEDATA
The PCIEDATA control statement causes the CMF MONITOR Extractor to collect IBM PCI Express (PCIe) hardware activity data and write SMF type 74-9 records.
The SMF type 74-9 records consist of data in the following sections:
- PCIe function data
- DMA data
- Hardware accelerator
- Hardware accelerator compression
[SAMPLE={30000|nnnnn}]
Monitoring modes | You can specify one PCIEDATA statement for each monitoring mode, continuous (CPM) or intermittent (IPM).
Sampler and record types | The PCIEDATA statement controls the PCIE sampler, which produces SMF type 74-9 records.
Analyzer statements and reports | PCIE | PCIE Activity Report |
Other BMC Software products | Only the CMF MONITOR Extractor uses the PCIEDATA control statement. |
Parameters
The parameter for the PCIEDATA control statement is:
SAMPLE= | specifies the number of milliseconds between data-gathering cycles for PCIe data The default is 30000 milliseconds, or 30 seconds. Acceptable values are 5000 to 60000. The specified time will be rounded to the nearest second. |

Example
The CMF MONITOR Extractor collects PCIE data once every 30 seconds.
