Exception Trace Detail Report

The Exception Trace Detail Report is produced by using the Analyzer EXCEPTS control statement.

Data for this report is gathered by using the TRACE76 Extractor control statement.

The report lists the exceptional conditions defined on the EXCEPTS control statement. The listing shows the exceptional condition being reported and the time that the condition was detected. Up to four fields can be measured during an exceptional condition.

One line of values is produced for each date and time interval that is specified on the EXCEPTS command. If the default time interval is used, one line is produced for each sample cycle that is encountered in the input data record. These lines of data are printed only if they fall outside the exception limits that are specified in the control statement. Large amounts of input data require large amounts of storage for DMSS. Storage is defined by the REGION parameter of the //CMFRPTS EXEC control statement (see ENQUEUE-Report-control-statements for more information).

If the TRCETYPE parameter is not used in parallel with the TRACE=YES parameter, the value AVG is substituted in the list for each trace measure that does not have a corresponding characteristic value.

A sample of the Exception Trace Detail Report is shown in the following figure.
