Channel Path Activity Report (Analyzer report)

The Channel Path Activity Report, in the figure below, shows information about the input/output definition file (IODF), and about the channels, including utilization percentages, channel speed, and read and write rates.

It is produced by using the CHANNEL Analyzer control statement. The data is obtained by using CHANNEL Extractor control statements.

This report can have the following sections:

  • IODF Section
This section shows information about the input/output definition file (IODF).
  • Overview of DCM Channels
This section shows information for channels managed by DCM. There is one row for each channel type.
  • Channel Profile
This section shows specific information for each channel paths; other than those appearing in the sections below.
  • Channels with PNET IDS
This section shows specific information for each channel path that contains a physical network ID.
  • Hipersockets Channels
This section shows message rates and sizes for entire complex.
  • Channel Path Description
This sections shows the description of each type of channel path.
