Creating a new JCL member
Use the following procedure to create a new JCL member.
To create a new JCL member
From the CMF Analyzer JCL Builder—Main Menu panel, select option 2.
The CMF Analyzer JCL Builder—Create New JCLLIB Member panel see the following figure is displayed.

Specify member names of models to be included ...
Model JCLLIB Member ===> (Enter '?' to see Model JCLLIB List)
Model CTLLIB Member ===> (Enter '?' to see Model CTLLIB List)
Edit after Save? ===> NO (YES/NO)- Complete the relevant fields:
- In the New Member Name field, enter a name for the new member.
- In the Description field, enter a description of the new member.
(optional) To construct the member from model JCL or from model control statement sets, enter a model name in either or both of the Model JCLLIB Member and Model CTLLIB member fields.
- If you need to edit the new member after saving it, enter YES in the Edit after save? field. Otherwise, leave the field set to the default option NO.
When you have finished entering information into the relevant fields, type one the following commands:
- END creates and saves the new member in the JCLLIB data set. If you entered YES in the Edit after Save field, the ISPF EDIT application opens. Otherwise, you return to the panel from which you invoked the CREATE command.
- SAVE creates and saves the new member. The Create New JCLLIB Member panel remains open, enabling you to quickly create additional JCLLIB members.
- CANCEL cancels the create operation and returns to your previous panel.
